Laser nurses have a duty to ensure education programs are undergone by all personnel in operating room

The new ACORN Standards for perioperative nursing in Australia (2016) are again recognising the importance of approved educational preparation for all personnel in the laser nominal ocular hazard zone. The  Standards which according to President Jed Duff "offer evidence-based and peer-reviewed guidelines...to standardise perioperative practice and promote patient and worker safety" were released at the ACORN conference in Tasmania late last month. Bravura Education are proud to be the only laser education courses accredited by ACORN and continue to work with hospitals and health services to provide tailor-made, convenient and cost-effective online educational solutions.
