Where and how can I study laser hair removal?
Well, in the comfort of your own home, in your pyjamas of course! How lucky are we to live in a time where we can educate ourselves in this way? At Bravura we've always thought that this was one of the best ways though!
If you are in QLD, TAS or WA there will be some practical hours you will need to log for your licence application, so you will need to get out of your pyjamas for that :-(
There is no need for any pre qualifications to learn hair reduction, so anyone is welcome to enrol. Our course will help you understand the science of light, national and state regulation, how light interacts with the skin and the key safety issues you need to be across before you do hair reduction treatments, including what wavelengths/laser or IPL to use, how to prepare the client, what to look out for, how to determine what and how you'll treat and post care arrangements. This certification is the minimum certification required in Australia to obtain Insurance.
The course takes approximately 12 hours to complete, you can work through it at your own pace and the exam is a range of true/false and multiple choice questions.
Once you complete and pass your exam, your certificate will be available to download immediately and you are safely able to go out and open a new business, or apply for a role in a salon/clinic and start gaining experience!

Payment options? We’ve got you covered! We have a lay buy option at checkout. It requires a deposit of your choice, a once off admin fee, and you have the choice of how many months (up to 12) you would like to pay it off, interest free!
As I mentioned above, for QLD, TAS or WA there are Laser regulations in Australia, this means you need to log supervised hours, hair reduction is 25 hours. For all other states, this is not mandatory. Some students will learn on the job, some students will open their own salon and have practical training from their new supplier.
As always, please reach out to me with any questions at all, I am always happy to help firstname.lastname@example.org
